Jesus was intentionally relational. He shared His life... not just His work... but His very life, with His disciples. He did this because He not only wanted to teach them about ministering, but also about living.
Ponder Colossians 3:12:
“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.”
To love others as Christ did does not always come naturally for most of us. We must strive to be intentionally relational. In other words, we must deliberately choose to be longsuffering, kind, patient, and loving with others. Let’s be a people who seek to follow Jesus and work at building authentic friendships.
