“It’s more than Church… It’s Life!”

    

     My wife was asked --“When does your office close?”  “It doesn’t”, she responded.  “You can get in 24/7…someone is always there.”   That got me thinking again about a concept that I passionately want to see developed and expanded.
      “It’s more than church… It’s life!”  This has been my philosophy and personal vision that real church takes place outside the church building walls.  To no longer play church, but to be the church – an authentic, genuine – 24/7 living, breathing body of Christ.  No longer is there a box, or walls, or any other hindrance, but rather driven by an unbridled passion for Jesus Christ that brings praise and glory to His name…and His name alone.  We have always taught that Jesus is not a part of our life – He IS our life.      
     Below is a list of values that I personally believe are necessities in order for the church to become a 24/7 church:

1.       VISION – of the Past, in the Present, and for the Future!

2.      LEADERSHIP – Ongoing training and equipping of elders, deacons, staff, and ministry team leaders.

3.      SUBMISSENESS – to God’s Will, His Work, and HIS Way!

4.      PREACHING and teaching that is Biblically sound, Practical, Relevant, Innovative, and Applicable.

5.      PEOPLE – Seeing each person through the eyes of Christ and then sharing His life and love.

     These values are 24/7, not only within the church, but also in the home, at work, and when we are involved in extra-curricular activities.

                   CHALLENGE - Jesus is ALWAYS there – 24/7.    We need to be living for HIM all the time – 24 hrs. a day, 7 days a week.  

                  When can someone ask you about your relationship with Jesus? – anytime, any day.   When can someone see you living out your life for the Lord ?– Let's make it -every day, anytime, and any place.
