I have been blessed in the Lord opening a door for me to work in the business world for the past almost two years and I have seen, heard, and experienced so many broken hearts, shattered dreams, confused, neglected, abused, under-encouraged, holding on to past failures, disappointments, and set-backs that I have been reminded and have a greater sense of renewal towards the urgency of being Christ-like in the world where I am at...to see people with His eyes, to reach out with His compassion, and to be empathetic and not just sympathetic.
I am reminded of a quote that has been apart of my personal passion for many years. I wanted to pass it on and maybe light the wick of perhaps your candle in hoping that we will not just look at one another from a distance, but roll up our sleeves and get into the lives of those who are unacceptable, unlovable, unappreciated, unlikable, and the many misunderstood.
"God has not called us to see through each other, but to see each other through."
